Christian artist Chris Tomlin earned another feather to his cap after being nominated for Top Christian Artist, Top Christian Album and Top Christian Song at the Billboard Music Awards 2016.

Tomlin's track, "Good Good Father," was nominated for Top Christian Song, while his "ADORE: Christmas Songs of Worship" was nominated for Top Christian Album.

"'ADORE: Christmas Songs of Worship' hit No. 1 on Billboard's Holiday Albums and Top Christian Albums charts, while 'Good Good Father' hit No. 1 on Billboard's Christian Digital Songs, Hot Christian Songs and Christian Airplay charts," according to the press release.

Chris Tomlin, meanwhile, told Billboard that he doesn't take all the accolades for granted.

"I'm just so appreciative that my songs have been accepted," he said. "God put me in a place when worship music was first becoming more main-stream, so there was perfect timing. When my first songs were played on the radio it was just on special shows, mainly Sunday mornings and now they are more widely played. It's all about timing."

Meanwhile, Chris Tomlin is set to go on his upcoming "Worship Night in America" tour spanning L.A., Denver, Chicago, Miami and New York.

"'Worship Night in America' is a huge thing for us, so we'll be doing that in major cities including New York again. We'll also make a record," he explained. " I don't think I'll spend as much time on the road this coming year. But no, I don't ever think about trying to top any success that I have had."

The Billboard Music Awards 2016 will air on ABC on Sunday, May 22.
