Chicago Cubs vs St. Louis Cardinals Live Stream Free: How to Watch MLB Online (TV Schedule, Start Time)

The Chicago Cubs (3-6) will face off against the St. Louis Cardinals (5-4) tonight at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. The game will start at 8:15 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Cardinals look to defeat the Cubs at home tonight. The Cardinals lost to the Cincinnati Reds by the final score of 4-0 on Wednesday. The Cardinals starting pitcher Shelby Miller (0-2) suffered the loss for St. Louis two days ago. Cardinals' starter Joe Kelly will attempt to get the win tonight when he battles Cubs starter Jeff Samardzija.

"There's a couple of games where if we had a couple of things go our way, we could be even better," said St. Louis skipper Mike Matheny to reporters in reference to the slumping Cardinal hitters.

"But I do believe that there's obviously more in our tank offensively."

The Cubs were defeated by the Pittsburgh Pirates by the final score of 5-4 yesterday. The Cubs reliever James Russell suffered the loss for Chicago yesterday. The Cubs are hoping their ace Jeff Samardzija (0-1) will out duel Cardinals starter Joe Kelly (1-0) when the two men oppose each other tonight.

"I see these guys work every day and I know what they're doing," said Samardzija to reporters in reference to the struggling Cubs offense.

"If it was a different situation and I thought they were lazy, it'd be different. Guys come to work every day and do everything they can. It's early in the season and we'll keep going, keep pushing and figure this out."
