Celebrities & Pastors Plead for Prayer on Twitter After Fatal Earthquake in Nepal [SEE HERE]

Millions were affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal, the popular hiking nation between Tibet and India, and although not much can be done in light of this natural disaster celebrities, pastors and Christian artists ask the world to join them in prayer and donate to the cause. 

Popular reality family, the Kardashians, are usually making news for their outrageous lifestyles but Kim and Khloe took to social media to plead for prayer after the devastating quake.

"Praying for victims of the earthquake in Nepal," Kim Kardashian wrote, adding, "Pls. help ?@prabalgurung raise relief money by donating here ?http://fw.to/Yyd30Ga"

Her sister Khloe wrote, "My thoughts and prayers are with the proud, brave people of Nepal!! Such a devastating tragedy!! God bless!!!"

Another reality star, Sadie Robertson, known for her outspoken Christian beliefs took to Twitter with her thoughts as well.

"Thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was involved in the Nepal earthquake," the Duck Dynasty star said, "Praying Nepal for the families of those who lost their lives."

Many Christian artists and entertainers also requested prayer and provided link to how people can do something about it.

Selah retweeted charity waters message that said, "Nepal needs our help. 100% funds relief efforts for earthquake survivors. ?http://charitywater.org

"Praying for Kathmandu and Nepal. May God comfort all who mourn...." Famous worship leader Israel Houghton added.

Beloved televangelist John Hagee also chimed in on social media but could not mention the devastation in Nepal without talking about the vicious attacks happening throughout the world by ISIS against Christians.

Pastor Hagee wrote, "We continue to pray for Nepal & for those who are being beheaded around the world for their faith. May Almighty God comfort those who mourn!"

Bishop TD Jakes echoed him and tweeted, "My heart is broken over the loss of 1400 people in Nepal, death of Freddie Gray, beheading of Coptic Christians n Libya. Who will pray w me?"

The earthquake is reportedly the worst to hit Nepal in 80 years. The death toll is now at 4,000 lives lost. Dozens of people are also reported to have been killed in the surrounding areas of China and India.

Hundreds of climbers have been rescued around Mount Everest, which was struck by deadly avalanches in the 7.8-magnitude quake.
