CBS's The Good Wife: Season 4 Final Episode Recap "Whats in the Box". What Viewers can Expect From Season 5.

The Good Wife's fourth season aired on September 30, 2012 every Sunday at 9:00 p.m. A month prior to the start of its 4th season, the TV show's Executive producer, Tony Scott committed suicide and the fourth season premiere was dedicated to Scott. The last episode of season 4 was aired April 28, 2013 and the last few episodes were tough on the good wife, Alicia. During this season she's been stuck between "a rock and hard place", fighting temptations with Will and whether or not she should make the Lockhart/Gardner Law Firm her next move.

During the final episode entitled "What's in the Box?" On the night of the Illinois Gubernatorial election, Zach got into trouble behind his iPhone once again while preparing to vote in his very first election, but this time he has photo evidence of vote tampering! Peter coincidentally won the campaign by over half a million votes. Kalinda learned that Democrats had faked votes for Peter. Will confronted Peter about the votes and let his cheating roll off his shoulders because in the end the extra votes weren't the deciding factor in the election, which proves Peter still has not changed and will probably stay stuck into his sneaky, conniving ways.

Ultimately Alicia and Cary jumped ship TOGETHER and went through with launching the new firm. Alicia making this decision speaks volumes because we now know she may not be carrying on her fling with Will and she plans on being with Peter and possibly become the first lady of Illinois, but she could be leaving the firm in order to avoid the conflict of interest when it comes to she and Will working at the same Law Firm. Either way, the fifth season of "The Good Wife" will kick off September 29, 2013 at 9 p.m. only on CBS !
