Female focused TV drama "The Good Wife" is returning for its fifth and all new season. For those who are unfamiliar with the series, it is about a politician's wife Alicia Florrick, who pursues a career as a Defense Attorney subsequently when her husband Peter (Chris Noth), is sentenced to serve time for political corruption. Florrick goes through the drama and trying times of keeping her two kids financially and mentally stable during her husband's jail time.
What can we expect this season on "The Good Wife"? Alicia will decide to leave the law firm to not only end her fling with Will Margulies (Josh Charles), but to better her commitment with husband Peter and possibly becoming the First Lady of Illinois. The Anthony Weiner sexting scandal and Edward Snowing/NSA spying scandal will also play their parts in the fifth season, theme wise.
There will be new characters entering the show this season such as, Melissa George, Julia Rylance, Ben Rappaport, and Jeffrey Tambor. I know there seems to be a lot of new editions, but Robert King, the TV show's Executive Producer promises that "The Good Wife" fifth season will still be centered on its main characters.
The fifth season of "The Good Wife" is set to premiere September 29, 2013 at 9 p.m. only on CBS. Stay tuned and enjoy the following spoiler down below!
