Cassadee Pope "The Voice" Season 3 Winner to have CMT Documentary Series, See Premiere Date & Show Info Here

Cassadee Pope has had a whirlwind year after winning Season 3 of "The Voice" on NBC. With the help of her coach on "The Voice" Blake Shelton, Pope found a new voice in the world of country music. Before joining the show, Cassadee had done pop/rock/punk projects with her solo career and singing for the band, Hey Monday.

Cassadee has already released her single "Wasting All These Tears" to great success and landed an opening spot on Rascal Flatts Summer Tour along with The Band Perry. So this was the perfect time for her to be able to win over thousands of new country fans a night. The video above shows some behind the scenes footage of Pope on her set of her music video.

CMT decided it would be worth while to make a documentary series following Pope around after her win on "The Voice" to capture her next steps of recording, touring and hopefully becoming a country/pop music star. It will show behind the scenes footage from the studio, tour life and everything in between.

The documentary series (still untitled) is set to premiere on Friday night, October 4th at 9 p.m. EST on CMT.

The series will be produced by Good Clean Fun with Jason Carbone, Nick Lee and Lyle Gamm as executive producers.
