Carman Licciardello's 'No Plan B' Lands at the Top of Christian Charts with Comeback Album After Cancer Battle (VIDEO)

Popular long time Christian artist Carman Licciardello found himself at the top of the Christian Sales Charts this week with his new album, No Plan B.

Just months ago Licciardello was in a vicious battle with cancer and needed chemo treatments and stem cell replacement therapy. Carman has since miraculously recovered from the life threatening cancer diagnosis and delivered No Plan B after a 10 year hiatus.

Licciardello's newest album released May 27 through his independent label, Norway Avenue Records and Capital Christian Distribution. No Plan B hit No. 2 on the Adult Contemporary chart, No. 2 on Christian/Gospel digital chart, and No. 3 On Contemporary Christian charts.

On a message released via Facebook, Licciardello was very grateful for his fans' backing of No Plan B. "I'm thankful for your overwhelming support and the positive response to my album 'No Plan B' and tour. It's a blessing to be able to get back out on the road and share the music with you. We continue to add dates to the 'Live Across America Presents: No Plan B Tour' and invite everyone to come see me out on the road this summer and fall," he said.

In the album's press release the singer discussed the meaning behind the new record. "The main message of the whole album can be found in the title track, 'No Plan B,' which is how I've lived all these years," said Carman. "Even if I only have a few more on this earth, I'll still be preaching, giving altar calls, winning souls for the kingdom and singing the songs that have the power to bring deliverance into people's lives, whether it be in front of 20 people or 20,000 people. God doesn't call us to be popular. He calls us to be effective and that's always been my goal, effective right up to the end. Jesus is 'Plan A.' There is 'No Plan B.'"
