Carman Cancer Update: Singer Admits Myeloma Still Exists in One Small Contained Area

Carman

Legendary Christian singer Carman Licciardello made an update about his health on his Facebook page for all of his followers who have diligently praying for him after the battle with cancer.

"It's seems longer but it's only been since May when I ended 8 months of chemo for myeloma cancer," he shared. "I haven't given many updates mainly because I just wanted to stop posting about Cancer and post about lives changed by the power of God. But seeing so many sincere people still ask, I'll tell you where I'm at."

He next admitted that he may have went on tour too soon after all his treatment. Carman only took six weeks off, and said "My body was not ready."

"I was so tired of hospitals and laying in bed for 10 months I had to do something. So I grinded it out," he explained. "I'd finish a concert then the 'meet and greet', walk up on the bus and sleep for 14 hours."

Carman said he is now lifting weights and doing strength exercises. An array of tests have shown his cancer is gone except for one small area.

"I take 1 Revilamed each day. 21 days on - 7 days off. That keeps it contained," he said. "But this is very very normal. All my energy is back but I do get tired quicky during travel. Time and weather changes affect me more now. My biggest problem was getting all the basic vitamins I needed 'post cancer'."

The singer drinks a product called Zeal which he said is an equivalent of 57 vitamin pills. It has helped him build up his health and immune system while "curving his appetite."

"Right now I've been at home recouping after 52 cities of touring. Hadn't done that in 14 years. So it's taking a bit to recover," said Carman. "We start back up again in Febuary. I dropped the basic ticket to10.00 and let anyone under 18 in free. Immediately the alter calls grew and we saw 2,500 first time decisions. So as you can see I have to balance my Ministry come back against my physical come back as well."

He concluded, "I will say this, your prayers have brought me to this point. Your prayers have also brought answers to hard questions and brought determination where there was defeat. Thank you again so much."
