BRITT NICOLE: “Gold” Re-release, Grammy Nomination, Expecting 1st Baby!

Britt Nicole fans have yet another reason to be excited. She's releasing a re-packaged version of her latest album "Gold" on February 26. Capitol Records is re-releasing the album to mainstream markets with a new album cover and new mixes of the title track "Gold" and a new mix for the divorce epic "All This Time".

Britt Nicole along with Sparrow Records originally released "Gold" March 26 of last year. It debuted at number 41 on the Top 100 Billboard charts. She also earned her first Grammy nomination for "Gold". She's nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.

Back in November Britt Nicole released the official music video for her album's title single "Gold". The uplifting and inspiring video focusing on teen anxiety issues like eating disorders and self-mutilation can be seen on her YouTube channel here:

"Gold" marks Britt Nicole's second album. Her debut "The Lost Get Found" in 2009 also debuted on the Billboard Top 100 chart.

Britt Nicole posted on her official website a little back-story for the meaning behind "Gold". "The message of 'Gold' is to remind those kids that are struggling that no matter what they have been told they are worth so much more than the words of another," explains Britt. "Once you know that, no one can ever steal your shine."

The Nashville artist also posted on her Facebook that her and her husband are expecting their first child this Summer.
