Motown Gospel singer-songwriter Brian Courtney Wilson's "A Great Work" hit the Top 10 on the BDS gospel radio chart this week, becoming the fastest-rising single of Wilson's career. The song is the title track from Wilson's fourth studio album A Great Work that he released in March this year, and which is a timely and relevant album pushing themes of unity, encouragement, and confidence.

In a recent interview with Grown Folks Music, Wilson talked about the confidence he hopes to convey on A Great Work, explaining that especially for his own children, he wanted to make sure they know they have an anchor in Christ and that they know that, when they make their own mistakes, they have a reservoir to draw from to keep moving forward. The artist says that when writing the album, he drew from experience in his own life, his own ups and downs, to try to explain that.

This week, Wilson is also sharing exclusive videos of his live performance at Sirius XM in New York City. Backed by a full band and background singers, Wilson offers two exceptional renditions from the album: "A Great Work," and "Increase My Faith." The videos are available on Wilson's YouTube/Vevo channel and can also be viewed at the end of this article.

Continuing to promote the album, Wilson recently visited Atlanta for several impactful radio and television appearances, including appearing on "The Rickey Smiley Morning Show," "The Willie Moore Jr. Show;" "Nightly Spirit with Darlene McCoy," "TV One's Sister Circle," "Atlanta & Co." and "Atlanta Live." The singer has connected with audiences around the country with a series of silent listening parties that have allowed fans and consumers to intimately listen to the powerful lyrics and music and hear Brian's insight.

On Tuesday, Wilson also appeared at the Gospel Music Association's 5thAnnual Gospel Hall of Fame ceremony, where he performed as part of a tribute to the legendary Staples Singers. The gala took place on in Nashville, Tenn., streaming via Facebook Live at the GMA Dove Awards Facebook page. A recording of the entire ceremony can be viewed here.
