Bones Season 10 Release Date, Spoilers: Renewed, Premiere Date Set for September 2014?

Even as Bones Season 9 wrapped up on May 19, Fox Entertainment has announced that the hit show will be renewed for Season 10, which will be aired at 8:00 p.m. ET on Thursdays.

Although Fox has not announced a specific premiere date for the new series yet, it is believed that Season 10 will be premiered either on Sept. 11 or Sept. 18 this year, because all earlier seasons were launched in mid-September as well.

While many fans are of the belief that "Bones" Season 10 will be the last season of the series, there has been no confirmation from the producers in this regard. However, earlier this year, Kevin Kelly, Fox Entertainment chairman, hinted that Season 10 could be the last of the crime-comedy drama.

Earlier in 2014, executive producer Stephen Nathan told TVLine that fans will be left with a cliffhanger following the Season 9 finale, which showed Jeffersonian and his team investigating the death of conspiracy blog writer Wesley Foster.

Nathan said, "It will change, at least temporarily, the landscape of the show. It really will be a very big shift in how Booth and Brennan will be dealing with crimes in the future."

According to Nathan, as Season 9 ended with uncertainty over the future of Booth as well as Brennan's lives, in Season 10, they will have to uncover that and set right what has been poisoned in the FBI. And both will have to deal with what they've been forced to do.

For several years now, "Bones" season finales posed big threats to the futures of Booth and Brennan's personal relationship. Nevertheless on Monday's Season 9 finale, it was the future of the now-married crime-solving duo's professional partnership that was in danger.

Meanwhile, actor David Boreanaz, who portrays the character of Booth said, "Things will change for the good and there will be also things that they'll have to adjust to. I keep saying adjusting because it's definitely going to be different."
