Billy Graham Talks About Heaven: Will Be 'More Exciting Than Anything We Will Ever Experience on Earth'

Billy Graham is arguably the most popular Christian evangelist in modern times, and has been ministering for more than 50 years, preaching Jesus Christ to millions across the globe.

In a recent letter to the famed preacher, a person named R.P. wrote in to inquire about a pressing issue that had been on their mind.

"DEAR BILLY GRAHAM: To be honest, heaven sounds kind of boring to me. I'm sure it will be very interesting for a while, but eventually I think I'll just be bored. Am I wrong? - R.P." the letter said, according to The Kansas City Star.

The Charlotte, North Carolina pastor has probably heard questions similar to R.P. multiple times in him lifetime, and he quickly responded.

"Yes, you are wrong. Heaven will be far more exciting than anything we will ever experience on this Earth! The one thing we will never be in heaven is bored!" wrote Graham to R.P. in a letter.

The 95-year old further explained to R.P. why Heaven will not be boring at all. Graham told them about God's divine nature.

"Why is this? One reason is because we will be with God - and because he is infinite and eternal, we will never grow tired of exploring the riches of his glory. Nor will we ever be able to exhaust the wonders of his love - a love so great that he sent his son to give his life for our salvation. We also will be with Christ, and we will have new bodies that will never grow weary or sick," wrote Graham to R.P., according to a report by The Kansas City Star.

Graham then quoted Psalm 19:1 to highlight his point about God and his awesome power.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands," wrote Graham.

Then Graham pointed to John 14:2 to explain how R.P. can have a better relationship with God.

"The real issue, however, is this: Do you know for certain that you will go to heaven when you die? You can be sure, by giving your life to Christ and trusting him for your salvation. Don't delay, but commit your life to him today. Then you'll know Jesus' promise is true: 'My Father's house has many rooms. ... I am going there to prepare a place for you'."
