'Better Call Saul' Season 3 Premiere Date, News: On-set Photos Hint Of Jimmy McGill's Transformation

On-set photos of "Better Call Saul" season 3 have surfaced online, offering a glimpse of Jimmy McGill's transformation into Saul Goodman.

Details about the upcoming season of the "Breaking Bad" spinoff remain scarce, but the latest photos of the upcoming installment reveal some tidbits of information on what fans can expect next season.

In one of the photos, Bob Odenkirk, who plays Jimmy McGill, is sitting along with "Better Call Saul" season 3 co-creator Vince Gilligan. Since the main protagonist is dressed up as Gene, fans speculate that the upcoming season will feature a flashback of his "Breaking Bad" character as the Cinnabon manager.

There are also speculations that since Odenkirk's life as Gene is dull and lonely, the flashback will serve as a transition from his old to his new persona. On the other hand, some reports claim that the new installment will solely feature the life of Gene back in his early days and will not feature his transformation.

In an interview, showrunner Peter Gould revealed that "Better Call Saul" season 3 will show how intriguing Gene's life was when he was still a manager.

"We're fascinated by that black and white world that Jimmy/ Saul moves into when he becomes Gene the Cinnabon manager," he said.

Another photo of the upcoming installment that has surfaced online shows Bob Odenkirk's character sharing the same room with his brother Chuck McGill. The photo intrigues several fans, considering that the two have always been known as strong rivals.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 premieres in February 2017 on AMC.
