'Battlefield 4' News, Update: DLCs, Expansions Listed As Free On PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 And Xbox One

Players are set to rejoice as all the major expansions of Electronic Arts' "Battlefield 4" are now available for free on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Starting Sept. 13, the said expansions of the first-person shooter video game are free on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, Game Spot reports. The PC version is not included, however.

The company launched DLC offers for "Battlefield 4" and "Battlefield Hardline" as part of its "Road to Battlefield 1" campaign. Game Spot reports that these were only set to last for a week and only included one expansion. Thus, players who missed the previous offers will be able to exploit them now.

According to Major Nelson, the "Battlefield 4" sets are "Final Stand," "Dragon's Teeth," "Naval Strike," "Second Assault," and "China Rising." For the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, players can download the game via Xbox's official website. The sets are priced at $15 each, as per the publication.

Along with "Battlefield," Xbox also have some offers off some games like "Batman," "Battleborn," "ClusterPuck," "Dead Island," "Dying Light," and "Forza Motorsport," among others, as reported by IGN.

Players do not have to be subscribed to an Xbox Live Gold membership to obtain the offer. However, they do have to be subscribed to enjoy playing the game online.

Meanwhile, "Battlefield 1" is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on Oct. 21.
