‘Batman: Return To Arkham' Release Date: Game Arriving Next Month, Comparison Video Unveiled [TRAILER]

Along with a side by side comparison video, new details on the release date of "Batman: Return to Arkham" have surfaced and as per reports, the game is set to come out in October.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Batman: Return to Arkham is set to be released on Oct. 21, IGN has learned. As per the publication, the game is set to be released as a bundle and it covers remastered editions of "Arkham Asylum," "Arkham City," and their DLCs. Being a remastered edition, the game is set to feature enhanced visuals, as suggested by Slash Film.

The game was originally slated to arrive on July 29; however, the publisher, as cited by Gematsu, said that the game needed additional time. In a statement, representative Steve Grayson said the following the review of the project progress, the WB games team had decided to delay the release of the game to let the Virtuous Games team have added time to deliver a polished output, which is a polished "Batman Arkham" game experience.

Following some leaks in March, it was in May when the game was officially announced. Aside from improved graphics, the game is set to showcase enhanced models, shaders, effects, and lighting, as per IGN.

In line with the game, Warner Bros. has also released a comparison video for "Batman: Return to Arkham." It sets the difference between the gameplay on the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4. As a better iteration, the PlayStation 4 version features more details and more vivid hues as compared to the PlayStation 3 version. Watch the clip here.

Overall, "Batman: Return to Arkham" is set to be released on Oct. 21.
