'Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders' News: Fathom Events To Release Animated Film Next Month [TRAILER]

"Batman" fans are set to see the Dark Knight in cinemas soon, in an animated film.

Fathom Events are set to work alongside Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment to release the animated "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" to cinemas for three consecutive showings, IGN has learned. As per the publication, the film is slated for an Oct. 10 release at 2:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 10:00 p.m., prior to its Digital HD release on Oct. 11 and Blu-ray release on Nov. 1.

The film will be shown in more than 700 selected theaters throughout the United States. Tickets can be purchased at Fathom Events or at any participating theater box offices, which are listed on Fathom's website.

It is added that the audience will be able to see a pre-screening introduction, as well as a post-screening preview of the featurette "Those Dastardly Desperados," which presents how the Bat-villains transformd into American pop culture figures.

As per Screen Rant, "Return of the Caped Crusaders" was previously slated to premiere on Oct. 6 at New York Comic-Con 2016. But then, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment opted to have the animated film's theatrical release for one day.

The Blu-ray/DVD version of "Return of the Caped Crusaders" features Batman, Robin, and the Batwheel, along with a bright and colorful background. The superheroes seems to be running and they look prepared for an action-packed combat mission.

The film stars Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar as the voices of Batman, Robin, and Catwoman, respectively. The roles initillay turned them starts on the "Batman" TV series way back in 1960s.

Overall, "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" is set to premiere on Oct. 10.
