'Bates Motel' Season 2 Spoilers: 3 New Cast Members / Norman and Norma Find "New Romance" Says Series EP Carlton Cuse / 2014 Premiere on A&E
Love is in the air when Bates Motel returns for Season 2 set to premiere in 2014.
Deadline confirmed rumors that Percy Jackson actress Paloma Kwiatkowski would be joining the Season 2 cast. Kwiatkowski will be playing Cody Brennan. Cody is "a small town party girl who befriends Norman and bonds with him, showing him how having fun and 'acting out' can sublimate pain - at least for awhile."
Though we can only speculate on how the two will "bond" we do know that romance is in Norman's future going into the second season of the popular A&E series.
Apparently every one in White Pine Bay is going to be seeing some action in Season 2. Executive producer Carlton Cuse not only confirmed romantic storylines for Norman, but also Norma and Dylan.
"There are some new romances as well. There's a new romance for Norman from a character we haven't met yet. Same for Norma. Those relationships will expand our understanding of the characters and open up White Pine Bay," Cuse said at Comic-Con 2013.

Norma is reportedly going to meet a "charming divorce" named George [Michael Vartan]. George not only snags Norma but is also the younger brother of another new member to the Bates Motel Season 2 cast, Christine.
Christine, played by Rebecca Creskoff is the first female Norma can really connect to and is definitely part of the "upper circle of White Pine Bay society."
Along with Cody, George and Christine, new to the Season 2 cast are Caleb and Zane Carpenter. Caleb [Kenny Johnson] is Norma's distant brother. In Season 2 Caleb stops by White Pine Bay to try and "coax his little sis into investing in a presumably shady business venture." We saw Caleb at the end of Season 1. Will Norma fall for his scheme in Season 2?
Zane is "a new upper-level player in Dylan's drug family."
Bates Motel Season 2 is set to return to A&E in 2014.
