Audio Adrenaline's Hands & Feet Project Reaches $20,000 Kickstarter Goal for Haiti Made Clothing Brand; New Flex Goals Seek $45,000 (VIDEO)

The Hands & Feet Project for Haiti Made has reached their Kickstarter campaign goals of $20,000 and are now trying for a flex goal of $35,000 with 13 days to go.

"Well, with two more weeks on Kickstarter, we want to continue our efforts to tell as many people as possible about the opportunity they have to join us in purchase/pledging these awesome HAITI MADE products. Would you continue to join us?" the organization posted. "In addition to all the exciting things we will do with the initially $20K already pledged, there are some other life-changing opportunities that could be actualize with any funds raised above that initial goal."

The group is currently at $24,132 with 238 backers, and looking to extend their reach.

"HAITI MADE can begin the first of many strategic partnerships! With your help in reaching the $35K goal, we can hire a dedicated Haitian crochet expert for 3 months to personally teach and train 8-10 young adult girls from Restavek Freedom how to make HAITI MADE crochet hats that we could all buy and enjoy! Restavek Freedom has a clearly focused mission to end child slavery in Haiti," they continued.

Another flex goal is if they reach $45,000. If obtained, they will partner with Son's of Trade to "train, tool and equip our workforce in Haiti."

Hands & Feet is hoping Haiti Made will create jobs in the nation's rough economy, and still serve the people with hope.

"One of our growing convictions as we continue to provide help, is the need to also provide solutions," said Mark Stuart, co-founder and Executive Director of Hands & Feet Project and also the former lead singer of Audio A in a press release, "A few months ago a few of us from Hands & Feet came together and developed a product line. Haiti Made is not only going to give our children a transitional period where they can learn important vocational skills but also employ marginalized groups all over south Haiti and hopefully, some day, across the whole island."
