'Arrested Development' Season 5 on Netflix: Creator Mitch Hurwitz Says New Stories Are "Definitely" Coming / Will Cast Return for Episodes or Movie?

Well Arrested Development fans, Netflix has officially confirmed a Season 5.

On Friday, Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz revealed a new story was "definitely" coming. However he did hint at a different form for Season 5. Could that mean there's finally an Arrested Development movie on the way?

"I kinda go back and forth between that and a series. But here's the most important thing, whatever we do, I want to get the cast all together and not do another anthology thing, and that's why I keep thinking about kicking off with a special or a three-part show and then going into a series."

Because of commitments to other productions, Season 4 rarely saw the entire ensemble together, which is a huge departure from past seasons. Though Season 4 was packed with great Bluth family moments, the real success of the show is when the entire cast is involved in the same storyline.

Maybe starting Season 5 off with a special could help alleviate some of the scheduling conflicts.

In an interview with Huffington Post, Michael Cera, the actor who plays George Michael confessed he wasn't really surprised by the reaction of a new season.

"I wasn't really surprised because I didn't really have any expectations of how people were going to react to it," Cera said. "I think it's a strange thing, bringing something back that already has a fanbase built in. It's a specific kind of challenge ... But I personally really liked it."
