'Animal Crossing,' 'Fire Emblem' Mobile Games Coming Alongside ‘Super Mario Run’ In March 2017

New details on the release date of Nintendo's "Animal Crossing" and "Fire Emblem" for the mobile device have surfaced and as per reports players will not be seeing them this year.

Nintendo has delayed the release of "Animal Crossing" and "Fire Emblem" mobile games to March 2017, Business Wire has learned. As per the publication, both games will follow the release of "Super Mario Run" to mobile devices in December. It is added that the forthcoming "Super Mario" game is set to represent Nintendo's expansion to mobile platforms, both in iOS and in Android.

It was in April when Nintendo announced the release of its two smartphone games, Polygon has learned. According to the publication, "Fire Emblem" for smartphones is set to be more accessible as compared to the "Fire Emblem" games for Nintendo's gaming platforms. In addition, the game is set to provide a deeper value when it comes to a role-playing strategy game.

It is added that the "Animal Crossing" for mobile will be relevant to one of Nintendo's game installments for the "Animal Crossing" franchise. Thus, players may see some connections from "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer" for the Nintendo 3DS and "Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival" for the Nintendo Wii U.

As per Eurogamer, Nintendo has also announced an "Animal Crossing" Nintendo Direct for November to unveil information on the upcoming "New Leaf" update for the the Nintendo 3DS. According to the publication, the studio might announce the preliminary details about the forthcoming mobile versions in the Nintendo Direct.

Overall, "Animal Crossing" and "Fire Embem" are set to come out with "Super Mario Run" in March 2017.
