Angie Miller Interview, Fall Tour Dates 2013 Start Post-American Idol Life Headlining Boston Fundraiser w/ Spike Lee & Performing at Hometown Topsfield Fair (VIDEO)

Angie Miller and her fellow Top 3 Idol-mates Candice Glover and Kree Harrison stop by Fox 28 in Columbus last week as they wrapped up their last few 'American Idol Tour 2013' shows (see video above).

Now that the tour has officially ended, Miller enters into her post-Idol career. This can be a scary time for many contestants over the years as they don't have any more scripts or schedules, it is up to them to keep the momentum they got on the show going.

Even with Candice Glover winning the show (who has an incredible voice) and Kree Harrison (amazing as well) coming in first and second, Angie Miller seems to have the fan support to help her career into the next stage. It still will be up to her though to make the right decisions and write/pick the right songs to stay relevant.

Miller is on the right track with by far the biggest social media following of this years 'Idol' class and she stays up with it on a daily basis letting her fans into everything that is going on with her life and keeping them connected. "You  " was a great first release and fans really loved that she actually wrote the song, but it didn't seem to connect with radio. In this day and age where everyone listens to music online, getting radio airplay isn't as important as it used to be but it can never hurt someone's career.

Miller has several events coming that she will be performing at this fall. She will be headlining the ABCD Gala (Action for Boston Community Development) alongside famous film director & hardcore NY Knicks fan, Spike Lee.

John J. Drew, president and CEO of ABCD, said in a statement,"We're thrilled to have both renowned, provocative film-maker Spike Lee and rising star Angie Miller to head up a grand night celebrating our ABCD volunteers and the work we do together with them in all of Boston's neighborhoods," Drew said. "It's going to be fabulous. I can't wait to meet them both."

ABCD helps provide family planning, child care, education, career development, housing, health care, and fuel assistance to more than 85,000 low-income residents of Greater Boston.

Angie Miller will also be performing at the Topsfield Fair close to her hometown. She will play in the fair's grandstand on Tuesday Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. The concert is free with paid fair admission.

"I grew up going to the Topsfield Fair so I'm very excited to get the chance to perform there," said Miller in a recent announcement.  "It will be a thrill to look out at the crowd and see so many familiar faces from the North Shore."

Hopefully she is working on some sort of U.S. extended tour where she will play a full set at several cities across America in late 2013 or early 2014.
