Andy Mineo repped Reach Records and his 116 crew hard at the 45th Annual Dove Awards on Tuesday. He called the boys out for a performance of his single "Uno Uno Seis" and took home two Dove Awards.

Mineo had a big night at the 2014 Dove Awards as his EP Never Land won Hip-Hop/Rap Album of the Year. He was also a part of another victory when KB's "100" featuring Andy won for Rap/Hip-Hop Song of the Year.

Mineo recently rapped on 106 & Park's "The Backroom" and absolutely brought his best with hot rap bars.

"Only sure thing in life is your death/ I pray these rappers know these dudes that are hanging on their neck," he flowed, "This that Jesus talk, you don't wanna see me start? Where you better send someone to martyr me"

In a recent interview the emcee said he would not call himself a Christian rapper, in fact, he revealed he would not even call himself a rapper.

"You can call me anything you want, I choose to not call myself a Christian rapper"” I don't even call myself a rapper for the most part, I call myself a creative," he said to REVOLT.

Mineo along with many of his other peers in Christian hip-hop and on Reach Records, is often seen as secondary because of his subject matter. Artists such as Lecrae, Trip Lee, KJ-52, and countless others are seen as nothing more than "Christian rappers" and are not given the validation of being a true emcee. However, that stigma appears to be changing as Lecrae has the No. 1 album in the country and is getting much props from mainstream outlets and artists.

"I actually like when those cards are stacked against me," Mineo continued, "Because then when you come to finally get to hear the music and get to come to a live show and you're like "I've never seen anything like this in my whole life,' then it's like the underdog shows up."
