'American Idol' Alum Colton Dixon Wedding, News: Dixon Marries Annie Coggeshall In A Disney Set-Up?

It is a happy ever after for "American Idol" alum Colton Dixon and his partner Annie Coggeshall, as they have tied the knot as husband and wife with a Disney theme.

Dixon and Coggeshall were married on Jan.8 in Nashville, where the former reportedly cried when he saw his bride walk down the aisle, after they got engaged at Disneyland.

In his interview with People after the ceremony, Dixon said that her was overwhelmed, adding that there was so much joy. The "American Idol" alum also mentioned that his bride Coggeshall had been glowing and it had been unbelievable how beautiful his wife had been.

For Dixon, he absolutely "lost it" with audible tears, adding that he did not look good when he cried.

As a Batman fan, Dixon wore a Dark Knight T-shirt under his custom tux, along with his groomsmen, who also wore superhero shirts underneath their suits. The shirts served as wedding day presents from Dixon's mother, Teresa.

In the same interview, Teresa said that that had been a mom's last gift to her son as a single man. The "American Idol" alum's mother added that knowing how huge a (Batman) fan he was with his life-size Batman costume in his media room at home, she had wanted to do something special for the wedding.

Meanwhile, Coggeshall wore a Cinderella-worthy organza gown tailored by Vera Wang. The bride said that she had felt like she had been going to a ball to get married.

During the reception, Dixon performed a serenade to his wife and to the guests. According to Christian Today, the "American Idol" alum sang Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love." On the other side, Coggeshall said that the moment had been so special for both of them.

Other Disney themed items captured during the wedding reception included the glass slipper decorating the cake table and the Cinderella-style horse-drawn carriage, which the couple rode before the clock struck 12 o'clock midnight.
