American Horror Story Season 4 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Bearded Lady, Conjoined Twins to Feature in Cast

As the details regarding the uncanny characters that will feature on Season 4 of American Horror Story: Freak Show are rolling in, it is already confirmed that conjoined twins, a bearded lady, and an exceptionally tall man named Bobby will be seen in the forthcoming episodes of the "Freak Show."

While the producers have been working hard to keep the plot a secret, we have come to know that Season 4 of the show is set in the 1950's Jupiter, Florida. Moreover, the new installment will focus on a freak show that is claimed to be among the last in the country. The next season will be led by the character portrayed by Jessica Lange, who will star in the show for the last time.

Other stars who will join Lange in Season 4 American Horror Story: Freak Show, which returns on FX in October, includes Angela Bassett, Michael Chiklis, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, and Sarah Paulson.

Talking to TV Line, show creator Ryan Murphy said that the character of Chiklis is "a strong man, who is also vulnerable."

Murphy further disclosed, "He had scenes with Angela and Jessica Lange and (onscreen ex) Kathy Bates. I love the part because it's really written to be quite vulnerable, which is something I think Michael does so well - the strong man who's vulnerable," he said, "I'm very excited to see (him) tussle with all those great ladies. And he's really up for it, really excited about it."

While Bassett refused to disclose the details regarding her character, she told E! News that she wouldn't be portraying role of the bearded lady. According Bassett, Murphy told her that her character is much better than that of the bearded lady.

Referring to Kathy Bates' character, Bassett told Popsugar that she still not sure about her character in Season 4, but disclosed that she is aware of what her character looks like.

"I know what my character looks like, but I don't know anything else about her," Bates said, adding, "In fact, I've just gone to costume fittings, and we're still developing the character. I haven't seen the script yet, and we start shooting in the middle of July, so time's a-wastin'!"

It seems that Sarah Paulson is the only person who is aware of some specifics regarding her character. Previously, the actress tweeted that she would be playing conjoined twins Dot and Bette. In fact, the actress also included a picture of what was believed to be a photograph of the character, but later disclosed that she had tricked fans, as it is still undecided how Dot and Bette will look on the show.
