‘American Horror Story’ Season 4 Trailer Spoilers, Episode 1 Release Date: ‘Freak Show’ Premiere Date Oct. 8 [VIDEO]

The upcoming season of FX Network's 'American Horror Story' has been subtitled 'Freak Show', and takes place in Jupiter, Florida during the '50s. Season 4's first episode will air October 8, and is entitled "Monsters Among Us."

On that note, the producers of the show have just recently launched a new trailer for the series a week before its premiere. The video has been exclusive to Buzzfeed, but can be viewed via YouTube below.

Stepping back into what fans can expect from the season premiere, the trailer video showcases some unsettling events.

Apparently, those who attended the "Freak Show," the focal point of Season 4, are unhappy with the presence of the "Freaks" in their town. They confront the performers and tell them to leave, never to return.

However, the "Freaks" will not stand for this, and as shown in the trailer, do not take kindly to being labeled as "Freaks" either. Evidently, this is where a lot of the conflict in the series will come from when Season 4 premieres.

Other things worth mentioning about the 'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Season 4, involves some of the interesting casts set to appear in the series.

First, the arrival of Bette and Dot Tattler, will be depicted in the opening episode. The character played by Sarah Paulson has two heads, both fully functional and have the ability to think independently. She is a new arrival to the 'Freak Show' which is run by Elsa Mars, played by Jessica Lange.

Other casts on the show include, Kathy Bates as Ethel Darling, Frances Conroy as Gloria Mott, Angela Bassett as Desiree Dupre, Emma Roberts as Maggie Esmerelda, to name a few.
