'American Horror Story' Season 3 Spoilers: "Coven" Cast Welcomes Alexandra Breckenridge / Will She Play Sexy Version of Frances Conroy?

The younger version of Frances Conroy's character, Alexandra Breckenridge, from Season 1 of American Horror story is back for Season 3, according to show runner and co-creator Ryan Murphy.

In the wake of dealing with the death of Glee star Cory Monteith, Murphy took the time to share with fans about new cast additions to American Horror Story: Coven.

Murphy confirmed the new cast member Friday via his Twitter account:

"Very happy to announce the lovely and talented Alexandra Breckenridge will be joining AHS: Coven. -Ryan Murphy (@MrRPMurphy) August 2, 2013"

If you didn't catch Season 1 of the FX series, Breckenridge played the younger version of the "murder house" maid, Moira O'Hara. What makes Moira special?

Women see Frances Conroy. Men see Alexandra Breckenridge.

At first Moira is introduced through the eyes of Mrs. Harmon as a wearily creepy old maid, who's tied to the house in some supernatural way. When Mr. Harmon sees her, as if by magic, Moira transforms into a seductive young "thang" with a less clothes and longer legs. Moira [Breckenridge] spent all of Season 1 tempting Mr. Harmon into inappropriate behavior.

Will Alexandra Breckenridge reprise her role as Moira or does Murphy have another character in mind for Season 3 "Coven"?

According to a report from Spoiler TV, Conroy is back in Season 3 as a woman named Ruth. We also know the show has been searching for a, "red-haired 20-year-old-version of the character."

American Horror Story has already begun filming Season 3 in New Orleans. "Coven" is scheduled to premiere October 2013 on FX.
