'American Horror Story Coven' Cast Rumors / Season 3 Welcomes Back Cast Alum Dylan McDermott, Zachary Quinto Out [TRAILER]

It looks like American Horror Story Coven is getting a friendly face back on the cast. Season 1 and 2 regular Dylan McDermott recently announced he would be joining the Coven cast once him and show creator Ryan Murphy can figure out timing constraints.

"[Series co-creator] Ryan [Murphy] wants me to come back, and I want to come back. So we just have to figure out the scheduling," McDermott revealed. "To me, [doing American Horror Story] is always like going home."

McDermott played the promiscuous murder house patriarch, Ben Harmon in Season 1 while he guest starred in Season 2 as the mommy issue deranged son of Lara Winters.

He's currently starring in the CBS drama Hostages.

If the cast rumors are true McDermott would join Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe and Frances Conroy in a group of actors who have starred in the show since it premiered.

Star Trek star Zachary Quinto was cast in the first two seasons of AHS but opted out of Coven to focus on his role in the Broadway play The Glass Menagerie. Quinto did reveal he'd be game to do one episode if Murphy called on him.

American Horror Story Season 3 airs Wednesdays at 10 PM on FX.
