Jill Parr Proves Her Mettle As First Album In A Decade, 'I Still Want More,' Debuts Top Of Charts

Jill Parr's New Album

There's likely not a more apt title than Jill Parr's new album, "I Still Want More," which so clearly signifies her mindset in releasing a new recording under the ministry she founded with her husband.

After a decade of inactivity, the artist is literally back for more as her fourth studio album debuts at no. 1 on iTunes for the Christian and Gospel Top Albums Chart, following its release on June 3.

Her story is unique as she released three different albums--the self-titled production in 1998 under Absolute, "Orbit" under Christian Records, and "Me Again" under Whiplash-and all those labels folded up just as soon as her albums had hit the shelves.

Now, she wants more control on where she wants "I Still Want More" to go, which is why it was released without fanfare through Daily Audio Bible.

"I wanted to make this record exactly as I wanted it to be and have it say exactly what I wanted to say with just me and the guy I married who gets it," she said.

Jill Parr said that she put her heart and soul into the new album amid all the criticisms about her weight, her age and her being a mom. She also enlisted her husband, record producer Brian Hardin, to oversee the production of the album.

The couple also co-wrote eight of the song on the 13-track "I Still Want More."

"'I Still Want More' is for those of you who have big dreams, just like me," she said.

"For those who still want more and hope that it's out there and are crazy enough to believe it. There's more in me. There's more in you."
