50 Cent, Andy Mineo Photo Sparks Debate Among Mineo's Christian Supporters (Photo)

Christian Emcee Andy Mineo topped the iTunes chart this month with the release of his new Ep Never land. Along with a load of support the rapper is also getting criticism from fans that think his promotional methods are too risky for a Christian artist. A photo with Hip Hop mogul 50 cent created a full on debate amongst Mineo fans.

Thursday afternoon Mineo posted a picture on Social Media of he and 50 posing for the camera. Mineo apparently concluded his promotional run by stoping by 50s office in New York City for an interview.

"Just spent an hour in @50cent office. Amazing conversation. Interview w @thisis50 coming soon," Mineo posted along with the photo.

The New York based Emcee started off his morning being interviewed by famous MTV reporter Sway for his show Sway in the morning, then he headed off to the office of Hip Hop Magazine XXL for another and concluded at This is 50. His supporters appeared to be on board until Mineo posted the picture with 50. The picture sparked a full on dispute between Mineo fans.

"Jesus did not work with sinners," one follower posted. Another responded by saying, "No Jesus didn't actually work with sinners but He did make His self available and approachable to them."

The back and forth continued as some defended the young rapper and others worried for his soul. "According to these comments I need to delete all the pictures i have on Facebook if there is a non Christian friend in it," a fan in defense of the picture wrote, and someone else said, "Bro watch what your doing dont get off track light and darkness don't go together just saying"

"1 post of a picture with 50 cent, and so many bold statements made. I pray my brother served 50 the gospel, and let Jesus do the rest. Do your thang Andy Mineo, and nevermind the lame comments," one more supporter posted to encourage Mineo.

Recently Mineo took to Facebook to apologize to fans for some comments he made about Christian rap being "Corny" on MTV's "RapFix Live."

Mineo first came to Christ during an experience he had at a Christian summer camp when he was in the eighth grade, but upon going to high school with no Christian support he strayed from the faith until his freshman year in college. Now he travels the country rapping about Christ and promoting the scripture Romans 1:16.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

What do you think of the Picture?
