Christian football movie '23 Blast' will be released on October 24 and is gaining support from K-LOVE/Air1, Casting Crowns, former NFL coach Tony Dungy.

Casting Crowns signed a partnership deal that will see them playing the trailer three times throughout their performances on their 39 day tour.

"I am glad to have the powerful movie 23 Blast be a part of our Casting Crowns tour this fall," said lead singer Mark Hall, "I love the story of Travis Freeman overcoming incredible obstacles to reach his goal. Even more so, the message of hope, through Christ, that 23 Blast brings. Having K-LOVE and Air1 behind it as well made it a perfect fit for us!"

"23 Blast is a powerful movie about football and perseverance, based on the true story of Travis Freeman," Dungy said, "If you're looking for an inspiring movie that the whole family can enjoy, go see this film!"

The film's trailer was released in early September and featured Crowder single "My Beloved" which is doing well on the Christian charts. Additional musicians on the soundtrack are TobyMac ("Unstoppable"), Ginny Owens ("Stublin"), and Sean McDonald ("We Are Brave").

The premise of the film revolves around a teenager named Travis Freeman who in 1997 gets an infection that renders him blind. Through the support of family, friends, and people who inspire him, he competes with the football team despite his vision.
