Eight-time Dove award winner and two-time Grammy nominated vocalist Nicole C. Mullen is set to release her new album, Sharecropper's Seed, April 3rd. With a personal and profound message, the record is not only a watermark album for Nicole; it's one for our entire generation.
"It's all of our stories," says Nicole. "We all have come from someone else's toil. They've prayed for us or planted seeds on our behalf or encouraged us along the way. We all have somebody who's responsible for the great harvest that we might receive in life."
Recorded in New York at the renowned Avatar studios, the album features some of today's top musicians and producers, including Tony Levin (Sarah McLachlan), David Mann, Nick Moroch (Vanessa Williams, David Bowie), David Hentschel (Ringo Starr, Queen, Phil Collins), Bashiri Johnson (Madonna, Mariah Carey, James Taylor), John Patitucci, Otto Price (Grits, dcTalk, BarlowGirl), Angeli Strings and Dan Weiner (Stomp). Sharecropper's Seed's notable roster has already yielded a feature in Pro Sound News , a mainstream industry trade magazine.
Standout tracks include "One Touch (Press)," "Convinced," and "I Wish." The first single "One Touch (Press)," a poignant and stirring story of healing that is resounding with audiences everywhere, was released to radio February 9th.
Nicole is set to perform at several Women of Faith conferences this year in addition to multiple headline appearances throughout the country. For more information on Nicole C. Mullen, visit www.nicolecmullen.com.
