Music industry veteran Caleb Morgan shares his powerful life story in his new book, I KILLED MYSELF, available November 25th.
When asked why he chose the book's title, Morgan is quick to answer: "Because I KILLED MYSELF! That's exactly what I did. I destroyed every possible thing within myself and my being to escape this world. However I awoke to a complete and pleasant surprise. It was God's grace that saved me."
At the age of 7, Morgan was raped by a trusted friend of the family. That gray cloud followed him through his teen years leading to severe depression and a life-threatening drug addiction. After a failed suicide attempt, he discovered God's love, grace and mercy, and the truth that with God absolutely anything is possible.
"I didn't write I KILLED MYSELF for everyone else, I wrote it for myself," says Morgan. "It was really tough digging into those dark, closed up closets that I walked away from a long time ago. So in some way or another, finishing this book was therapeutic for me."
Morgan will appear on Daystar Television Network's Celebration on November 24th, the eve of the book's release. An aggressive promotional campaign is planned for the book, including additional national television appearances and live speaking events around the country throughout the winter and spring.
Morgan resides in the Atlanta area where he runs NewLine Management, an artist management company that has represented such artists as Blessid Union of Souls, Hawthorne Heights, Ginny Owens, Anthony Evans, Brandon Scott Smith and more.
I KILLED MYSELF is available exclusively at www.calebsmorgan.com.
