High energy cannot even begin to describe the awesome experience had by all at the Tye Tribbett and Greater Annointing Concert on Friday, June 13th. The Racial Reconciliation Community Outreach Network(RRCON) hosted it's 22nd Annual Conference and had approximately 2000 people of all ages at the Tucson Convention Center in Arizona. When Tye Tribbett and G.A. ministered, the audience was on it's feet the whole time! Tribbett and G.A. started the night with, The G.A. Chant, "No Way", an audience favorite. After that, they went on to perform the song from the "Victory Live" CD called "I Want It All Back". Then, Tye began to minister how he was inspired to write "I Want It All Back" based on Acts 27. He was sharing with the audience, especially the youth, that they've got a purpose in this life. That according to Romans 12:1 we are not to be "conformed to the world but transformed...". He spoke to them about the secular music that's being played on the radio, T.V., internet, etc. And how it affects their relationship with God and how to recognize when He speaks. He specifically stated that "Music is one of the major things drawing the youth away from God." He then went on to sing the songs that recognized the splendor of God's majesty, His mercy, that He's everything, how great our God is and you can just finish the rest. Describing Him can go on and on and the atmosphere was truly set for worshipping Him.
Of course, you can't go to a Tye Tribbett concert and just stand still for you have to move. The audience did just that. There wasn't a person in the audience that didn't mimic at least one of the dances that G.A. performed. He then began to sing "Victory". By the end of the night, the audience was so amped that we were given the privilege of not one but several encores.
With opening groups like One Kingdom Image, Cruise Control, Mista & Mrs. Taylor, and the Community Youth Dancers. The audience's experience was like none other.
Tye Tribbett and G.A..'s newly released Album, "STAND OUT" is available online and in stores now. Don't miss out on this one. You will be blessed.
The RRCON hosted concert with Tye Tribbett & GA was one that multiplied your hope, faith, power and strength in God. Lives were changed. It was not just a concert but an encounter with God and as Tye advised, "Don't leave tonight brushing off God by going back to your old ways." A message to be heeded!
