From Nashville, TN comes an exciting male group called Tribute Quartet. Combining energy, talent, and enthusiasm for their craft with their calling and desire to minister to others, Tribute Quartet is quickly establishing themselves as a premier musical entity in the gospel arena.
Group manager Gary Casto says, "It is this group's desire to offer Southern Gospel Music at its finest to encourage and inspire the audiences to whom we sing. It is the goal of Tribute Quartet to carry on the grand tradition that is Southern Gospel Music, and do it in a way that respects those who have carried this gospel torch before us, while at the same time producing our own fresh and unique sound."
A "tribute" is an expression of honor, respect, or high regard. So, it's no coincidence the name Tribute Quartet so aptly fits these men and their mission to honor the music, singers, and Spiritual messages that have so definitively shaped gospel music down through the years. Often humorous, never predictable, and always upbeat, the message and music of Tribute Quartet will leave you refreshed and uplifted.
Lead vocalist Gary Casto, who originally hails from West Virginia, brings to Tribute Quartet over twenty years of experience in the Southern Gospel Music genre. His ability to effectively deliver a song vocally as well as emcee the groups' concerts makes him a natural favorite on stage with fans everywhere. Off stage, Gary's leadership and management qualities are equally important to the group. His love for Southern Gospel music is evidenced in his tireless work for such organizations as the Southern Gospel Music Association, Southern Gospel Music Guild and his work with the National Quartet Convention, all the while handling the management duties of Tribute Quartet. Prior to Tribute, Gary's most noted position among southern gospel groups was that of tenor vocalist with the Wilburns. Gary resides in Hendersonville, TN.
Baritone and pianist Josh Singletary brings his smooth vocals and stellar piano prowess to Tribute Quartet. Originally from Raiford, Florida and now living in Hendersonville, TN, Josh has endeared himself to countless fans who love his music and his personality. Josh is responsible for the majority of humorous moments in this group, but his love for laughter is truly surpassed by his love for the Lord and for making people forget their problems for a while when they come to a Tribute concert. Don't be fooled by his gift for making people smile. This young man is actually a classically-trained pianist who has had the distinct honor of participating multiple years on the highly acclaimed Pianorama showcase at the National Quartet Convention. Like fellow group member Gary Casto, Josh came to national prominence when he was with the Wilburns, serving as their pianist.
The rich bass tones of Dennis Dugger complete Tribute's outstanding quartet sound. Dennis, who lives in Bald Knob, AR with his wife and four children, has a clear, distinct bass voice-one that blends well with quartet singing but is also of superb solo quality. Dennis has been singing for many years and is excited to be living his lifelong goal of traveling on a professional and national level. Those who meet Dennis are immediately impressed by his sincerity and his compassion for others. He has a heart for seeing souls saved and making a positive impact on audiences through his music. His demeanor and his voice are both natural assets to Tribute Quartet and its goal to encourage and inspire others.
Jacob Kitson, from the state of Arizona, is Tribute Quartet's tenor. Although he's the youngest, he brings plenty of experience and a true high tenor voice to the group. Prior to joining the group, Jacob traveled with his family, the Kitsons. He is also an evangelist and has traveled the nation sharing the word of God. He truly has a heart for reaching souls, and his love for God, people, and gospel music is displayed each time he steps on stage.
