Todd Agnew News, Sara Acker From Inhabited
How did the group come up with the name Inhabited?

The meaning of Inhabited is two fold. Psalms 22:3 says God inhabits the praises of His people! We always want to put on a good show, but more than that, we want our music to usher in God’s peace!
Corinthians 6:19 says we are inhabited by the “Holy Spirit”! We are indwelt by the “spirit of truth”(John 14:17) and want our lives to reflect that! We want to honor God, not only on stage, but with our lives. We are not our own!

You have a passion to reach out to the youth. Can you share a recent story of how you’ve encountered with a teenager(s)?

While we were on the Todd Agnew tour, I finally got the chance to meet the girl who inspired me to write “One More Night”.
It was far more than just an encounter but an amazing moment to come face to face with someone whose story has played such a great role in the ministry of Inhabited.

How has touring been?

Going on tour was definitely draining at times, but every night you pour yourself out, and give it your all. Even though you may be tired, you get a sense of peace and satisfaction knowing that you are where you are supposed to be. As I sort of already mentioned, one of the coolest parts about the tour was getting a chance to meet a lot of the teens I had kept in contact with for years. That was one of the greatest blessing to me.

Next week, our site, www.jointherevolution.org will go live. That's a site you will want to check out! :)

I was looking over your album cover/booklet, and I saw an image of you looking a bit lost and abused, holding a shabby teddy bear- and another image of you sitting on a chair in despair. What were you trying to portray through these pictures?

One thing I wanted to portray was transparency. The song “One More Night” talks about being on “the dirty floor”, and we have all hit rock bottom at some point in our lives. Obviously different people come from different walks of life, and while one may have to deal with the pain of abuse, another may be scarred by rejection, while another is beat up by their own guilt. I wanted that picture to say, "Look, I'm human. I hurt. I feel too. We may not experience the same pains, but we all have our scars." Secondly, a picture is worth a thousand words. I wanted to paint the picture that the songs “One More Night” and “Angel” portray, but with sight, not sound.

Do any of the songs in the album come from personal experiences of the band members?

Of course! I write about real life, whether it is mine or another's, I am usually in there somewhere.

Your most rewarding moment as a Christian band so far?

Seeing lives changed. Nothing compares to that!

Any plans for Christmas?

We will all be taking a Christmas break, and spending time with our families. Being on the road makes you even more aware of how blessed you are to have family and friends back home! So, this time together will be greatly cherished.
