Worshipper and songwriter Tim Hughes prepares for the upcoming
Soul Survivor Momentum conference.
Focused on mobilizing church leaders in worship, social justice and evangelism, the three-day conference will be held June 22-24, in Newport Beach, Calif.
Hughes will lead worship and teach workshops on worship leading and songwriting to young adults, leaders and worshipers, ages 18 to 30, at the conference and will close the festival with a "Night of Worship."
Momentum also includes lead worshippers David Ruis and Rita Springer and speakers Mike Pilavachi (founder of Soul Survivor), Todd Hunter (ALPHA USA, president), Mike Breen (founder of ChurchNext.net), Greg Russinger (pastor of The Bridge in Ventura, CA) and Scott Bartchy (UCLA professor of religion and philosophy) among others.
Hughes will also join The Pastor's Forum, sponsored by Outreach magazine and Soul Survivor, on Saturday, June 25, at Rock Harbor Church in Costa Mesa, Calif. The Pastor's Forum will give leaders a chance to hear from pioneers like Mike Pilavachi, Todd Hunter, Hughes and others on key issues of worship, justice and evangelism.
Additionally, Hughes has a brand new, unreleased worship song, "To Act Justly," available for download at
