By Rayco Butler, Manhunt.com As 2005 comes to a close it does leave us with something to talk about that 2005 was the year of CMR operating as a full independent label that dropped all artists' roster albums all in the same year ' talk about industry shakedown!' With CMR artists' like Phantaik and Da' Truth pulling much anticipated weight with solid albums we all know that the voice that truely sets the tone, pitch, and vibe for Crossmovement is The Ambassador. With Christology giving him space to touch and build on the Theological themes and life of Christ his new album The Thesis presents Christ to the culture of Hip Hop. This is a 360 degree hip hop record for Ambassador . The Thesis is a straight head on collision crash course with the current state of rap music wich by now if you have not been paying attention the industry is in a state of chaos and confusion . The Ambassador definetly wants to make this record heard and felt through the hip hop industry. You can feel his cry to the church and parents in the church to support christian hip hop and make the arrangements to include holy hip hop in the church to the next generation of leaders, ministers, musicians, and preachers. The Thesis is packed in a stew of well rounded styles of hip hop. my favorite track on this album is, 'Feels Good'. Ambassador really gives God the glory on this club banger. It really will put you in the mood to thank God for helping all of us in this world for the things he has blessed us with to be able to do the things that get us through the days and weeks of our lives like getting gasoline, going to the movies, paying our bills, just taking care of of our needs to secure our mind, body & soul. Ambassador is a B-Boy to the heart so he will never forget the backbone of Hip Hop on a song like 'The Elements' wich directs the total attention to bring the understanding of the Hip Hop culture and now it's time for the Hip Hop culture to come to the understanding of Christ and why Christ has directed his total attention to Hip Hop. Being a Hip Hop head I like a straight up hip hop album but, in true Hip Hop tradition you got to slow it down for the B-Girls. In pure Crossmovement forum Ambassador expresses his concern on the role women play to get a man to notice them on ' Body Talk'. This is a chill and sensual song that may spark conversation and controversy among women in the church and maybe across the nation. In today's fashion for women less clothing leaves less to the imaginaton. In today's music videos' why are that women are half naked & treated like slaves while the men are all clothed in football gear what's up with that? If you have been waiting on 50 or Kanye to bring you raw Hip Hop well keep waiting because m, The Ambassador has the official soundtrack to the street with 18 cuts of blazin' heat !!!
