Superchic[k] News, Cross the Line Tour - Holding Nothing Back
Britt Nicole
On April 26,2008, there was no other place to be on a Saturday night than at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Chandler, AZ for the "Cross the Line Tour" featuring Starlit Platoon, Britt Nicole, KJ52, Disciple and Superchic[k]. It was said to be the most highly attended concert of the tour with approximately 1500 people in attendance.

Brandon of Starlit Platoon opened the night calling everyone to the front of the auditorium shouting, "This is a rock concert." So from that point on the energy was high. Starlit Platoon's last song had everyone chanting lyrics from the "Gun Fight" song, "This is what we are fighting for/ This is what we're dying for", which geared us up for Britt Nicole.

Britt Nicole lit up the stage with her encouraging song "Set the World on Fire" as the audience pulled out their cell phones and waved them in unison. Her songs truly displayed that through a relationship with God you can do anything.

The fun didn't stop there, because "Tweezy" aka KJ 52 entered the stage with a force of excitement that the audience couldn't contain. He brought the old school rap as well as new school flavor for the parents and the teens alike. And if you wore your KJ 52 gear, you could see yourself on KJ 52 TV, which could be found on Youtube.com.

When "Disciple" came to the stage to rock it out, they performed songs like "After the World" and "Scars Remain". At one point Kevin of Disciple, pulled out his pocket Bible to read Galatians 6:9 "Let us not grow weary in doing good..." He even invited people to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The message of God's true love resonated.

Lastly Superchic[k] brought the house down with classics like "We Live", "Pure", and "Hero". They even debuted a song called "Alive", from their new album called "Rock What You Got" to be released on June 24,2008. The audience couldn't get enough of Superchic[k], when the concert was over many from the crowd screamed "Encore, Encore!" After a few moments, Superchic[k] came back on the stage to sing not one but two bonus songs, for a double encore performance of "Stand" and "Beauty from Pain."

The audience gave it their all and the bands gave it their all. When you put those together, you get a concert that was not only fun but purposeful!
