INO Record's brand new rock-based label, S/R/E Recordings, has just announced its partnership with Southern-California based The Militia Group to release The Rocket Summer's (TRS) brand new project "Hello, good friend," to the CBA market this July 26th.

Bryce Avary, the 22-year-old man behind The Rocket Summer, has crafted in "Hello, good friend", a piano and guitar-driven rock 'n roll project that slams home a message of belonging.

"Bryce is one of the most straight up guys I know," commented Rory Felton, CEO of The Militia Group. "Not only does he write incredible songs, his faith in Christ has always been first and foremost in his life and his art. When the opportunity arose to work with a Christian market partner, it really just made complete sense to join forces with S/R/E. Bryce wants the world to know that he is a Christian and that his faith is the most important thing to him."

In November 2004, Avary teamed up with producer Tim O' Hier (The All-American Rejects, Sebadoh, Hot Rod Circuit, The Jealous Sound) in Brooklyn to co-produce his second album "Hello, Good Friend." This new album showcases the diversity in Bryce's musical mind with honesty and sincerity.

"There are not many opportunities to work with an artist as gifted and genuine as Bryce. He has had the opportunity to perform his music in front of artists that we only dream of - from Jimmy Eat World to Something Corporate to Copeland," says Steve Ford, GM of S/R/E Recordings. "I want to support an artist who is a true 'Roaring Lamb' - impacting culture with his music and exposing them to the love of Christ."

Since the age of 14, Avary has been obsessed with music, making records, connecting with people, and touring the world. After The Rocket Summer's debut release, "Calendar Days" on The Militia Group, TRS developed an underground following in the U.S., which quickly spread abroad. Soon, TRS traveled to Japan, where Bryce and Co. rocked the legendary stage of the Summer Sonic festival in 2003.

In addition to numerous headlining U.S. tours and the Japan rush, TRS has supported The Atari's in the U.K. and trekked the U.S. with the likes of Something Corporate, Ash, Jimmy Eat World, Copeland, Recover, The Format, Relient K, Mae, and Maritime. Currently, Avary is headlining the "Militia Family Affair" tour with labelmates Brandston, Cartel and Umbrellas.
