Ralph Freeman, father of Darrell Freeman and founder of award-winning Gospel group The Freemans, passed away this past Sunday, August 30, 2009. Ralph was 77 years old.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Ralph Freeman's funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Mount Harvest Church of God, Rt 113 in Milan, Ohio. The viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the Groff Funeral Home on Perkins Ave in Sandusky, Ohio. Viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Flowers can be sent to the Groff Funeral Home.

The Freemans issued this statement: "We appreciate your prayers during this very trying time in our family. Losing loved ones is an inevitable part of living in this word, but it's never an easy aspect of this life to deal with. Your prayers mean more to us during this time than ever before."
