Independent pop band, Farewell June, will be performing with PETRA on their Farewell Tour this fall. Together, the bands will tour throughout the US and Canada from September 30 to November 20, 2005.
"PETRA has been the blueprint for Christian rock musicians. Farewell June is ecstatic that PETRA chose us to be part of this historical and epic tour," the band expressed.
Farewell June's debut album, "1939," released on Whiplash Records in early February, 2005. "1939" was produced by the legendary Jonathan David Brown who establish Christian rock through the development of PETRA. PETRA later broke into the marketplace with "Coloring Song" and "More Power To Ya.
As an organic pop band, Farewell June desires "To play great music with thought provoking lyrics for a people that desperately need to know the love of God." The band believes their music lives and thrives in the modern world. Their songs have a free-spirited familiarity and undeniably proclaim God's acceptance for everyday people.
