Professor Wilbur Belton & LADWEC's song "Come Bless His Name", one of the hottest choir songs to hit radio in recent memory, catapulted the church ensemble to instant popularity. Produced by GRAMMY, Dove and Stellar Award winner Steven Ford, the debut project introduced the dynamic choir to the gospel music scene. The song was also the force behind the group's 2007 EnSound Award, a 2007 Washington Area Music Award Nomination for Best Mass Choir, a 2005 Gospel Award for Best Traditional Choir, and The Community Choir Award.
