Renowned Christian female vocalist Nichole Nordeman will be releasing a new “Best Of” CD on Mar. 6 containing some of her greatest hits since she began her career in 1998.

Recollection: The Best of Nichole Nordeman, released by Sparrow Records, will highlight 15 of her top singles such as "Why," "This Mystery," and “What If” as well as introduce two new singles, “Sunrise” and “Finally Free.”

“If the Christian music industry appointed a poet laureate, top prize would undoubtedly go to Nichole Nordeman,” reviewed Infuze Magazine about the album on their website. “For almost a decade, Nordeman has emerged as one of the top female vocalists, penning songs that resonate with the redeemed spirit in ways that few songwriters can.”

According to R&R (Radio & Records) magazine, Nordeman has been the most popular Christian female artist over the past two years.

She has won nine of Christian’s most prestigious Dove Awards, two of them for “Best Female Vocalist,” and recorded five No. 1 radio singles. In addition, she currently has two Dove Award nominations for the upcoming ceremony for “Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year" over her duet with Selah with “Glory” and again for “Female Artist of the Year.”

At present, she is the No. 1 most played female artist on Christian radio.

One of her new releases, “Finally Free,” is also the theme song for this year’s Women of Faith conferences – the nation’s largest women’s conference.

Besides being a songstress, Nordeman also writes for CCM Magazine, a monthly publication that covers contemporary Christian music, with her own column called “Loose Ends . . . Confessions of an Unfinished Faith.”
