Legendary Christian artists
Newsboys was honored to be the last group to perform at the Creation West in George, Washington, July 30, where the filming of their 2005 live concert DVD also took place. The DVD will pair with the band’s new full-length studio album releasing early 2006.
No less than 25,000 gathered at the beautiful site for a wonderful time of praising and worshipping under the bright and shining stars with Newsboys.
“Get your feet off of the ground!!” shouted Peter Furler, as he charismatically led the crowd to jump, shout, and sing along to the songs.
Some of the songs performed included “It Is You,” “Million Pieces,” and “Breakfast,” where fans raised Captain Crunch boxes and large spoons made out of cardboard. Towards the end of the concert, Furler led the crowd in prayer and shared heart-warming testimonies.
The overall show will now be delivered to thousands beyond the ones gathered for the actual concert, when the live DVD hits stores. The release date is soon to be announced.
