Everyday Sunday News, New Music label 3.1 Productions
Debut act Monday Morning
New Music label 3.1 Productions has launched in Springs, Tenn, by industry veterans John and Dino Elefante, with a commitment to developing today’s top new artists. In partnership with Greg Weston of Weston Entertainment, 3.1 Productions is founded on a progressive model for multi-layer artist development. Beyond partnering with traditional distribution outlets Provident-Integrity Distribution and a soon-to-be named general market partner, 3.1 Productions will also enlist its own Deep Music Distribution. Deep Music will focus on distributing the label’s developing acts in mainstream and general markets.

“Having the ability to release an artist on one or all of our triple tier distribution sources is exciting to us,” comments company CEO, Dino Elefante. “Independent artist retail exposure through our Deep Music Distribution system, all the way up to our general market partner who will be substantial, is what I feel makes us unique. Our rock imprint, Selectric, will give faith-based artists direct access into the general market. On the rock front, we feel the opportunity for these artists is the strongest it's ever been.”

Label home to imprints Selectric and Skytone Records, the company will introduce its debut act, Monday Morning, on August 30. Monday Morning’s first national project, Fool’s Paradise, was produced by Quinlan (Benjamin Gate, Everyday Sunday) in conjunction with Grammy and Dove award-winning producers John and Dino Elefante. It combines a modern melodic rock sound with a relevant message about overcoming the traps of worldly living.

Label chief David Bach, expounds on the record’s impact, “What impressed us most about this band is their ability to consistently write great songs. Monday Morning’s melodic rock instinct truly sets them apart from other bands on the crowded modern rock landscape. This is a solid record from top to bottom.”

The inaugural single from Fool’s Paradise, “Sunshine” will be serviced to both Christian Rock and Christian Hit Radio formats. Monday Morning also wrapped production on a music video for the song, which currently is being distributed to video outlets nationwide. The band will continue with select appearances at Shoutfest this summer leading up to street week.

Based in Cool Springs, Tenn., 3.1 Productions serves talented, faith-based artists who desire to reach both Christian and mainstream music fans. An independent music company,3.1 comprises rock imprint Selectric Records, home to Monday Morning, Homeless J, Cross Culture and High Flight Society, as well as pop label Skytone, whose artists include Andrea Webber and John Elefante.
