Chicago-based group Daniel's Window has been performing their brand of rock and hip-hop infused worship music since 1997, but with the release of their fifth CD Strangely Looking Forward, their Cross Driven Records debut, the band is ready to make some changes.

The Christian Music Makeover is a unique promotional campaign designed to introduce the band Daniel?fs Window to the national marketplace, while capitalizing on the current pop-culture "reality" phenomenon. Launching January 1st, Christian music fans will have the opportunity to become part of the process of launching a successful band.

Part Extreme Makover and part Making the Band, The Christian Music Makeover will take a talented pop/rock group and transform them from "average" to "wow" over a 6-month period. The transformation is not only designed to emphasize the physical, but the spiritual as well – a complete makeover, from the inside-out.

Fans will have the opportunity to monitor the bands transformation, reality-TV style, via the interactive Official Website at www.ChristianMusicMakeover.com. Fans will also have the chance to win the same items and services used in the Makeover campaign, through exclusive contests and promotions at the site!

Corporate sponsors and partnerships already confirmed for the campaign include Jenny Craig, Daisy Rock Guitars, MAC Cosmetics, Merchplaza, Food For the Hungry, Campus Life Magazine and many more. Additional partnerships will be announced throughout the campaign.

The Christian Music Makeover is also negotiating a book deal as well as a television broadcast opportunity in the form of a 2-hour network special or limited-run reality series.

Daniel?fs Window will have an enhanced retail presence throughout the campaign, starting with Provident-Integrity Distribution's "Winter of Rock" promotion, which runs January 18–February 28, 2005. Daniel's Window will be one of twelve artists featured alongside popular acts like BarlowGirl and 12 Stones. Strangely Looking Forward was released November 2nd by Nashville-based Cross Driven Records, a division of Here To Him Music Group, LLC.

ABOUT THE BAND

Since forming in 1997, Heather, Caleb, Alby, Bill and Jesse have performed nearly 1,000 shows throughout the U.S. The Chicago-based group has shared the stage with some of the industry's biggest names, and made regular appearances at Acquire the Fire, Youth Encounter and Youth Specialties events.
