Acclaimed Curb Records' artist Natalie Grant has recently reached the top on charts with her powerful single "Held," which hit #1 on Christian Radio Weekly's AC chart. Her album Awaken also hit #1 on the CBA SoundScan sales chart, her first album to reach the top of the charts.
"Radio showed what they can do when excited about a song that doesn't fit a sound, style or format but moves and impacts the lives of their listeners. That's what hits are all about," says John Butler, Vice President, Christian Promotion for Curb Records.
She continues to hold down the #1 spot on Apple's iTunes Inspirational chart, both for her album Awaken and her hit single, "Held."
Dennis Hannon, Executive VP/General Manager of Curb, isn't surprised by all her recent achievements. "Natalie has made the album of her career. The current single, 'Held,' continues to touch listeners in both Christian and Mainstream radio formats. Natalie Grant is an artist whose voice and lyrical message combine together to form true grace and artistry. 'Awaken' is an awesome album! We are proud to be a part of her growing success."
In addition, Grant will soon release a book, The Real Me: Becoming The Girl God Sees, slated to hit stores in October. The encourages girls to accept God's view of them and His purpose for their lives.
Grant states, "The book is my story—as honest and as transparent as I can tell it—but it's also a tool to help girls understand the truth of how God feels about them versus that pop-culture myth of perfection we've been bombarded with all our lives."
