After winning an American Music Award and eight Dove Awards, INO Record’s band MercyMe has received their first Grammy nomination for their latest best-seller, “Coming Up to Breathe,” nominated for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel album. The Grammy’s will be held on February 11, 2007 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center and broadcast live on CBS.
Following a successful fall tour with numerous sell outs, MercyMe has also announced the line up for the spring leg of their “Coming Up to Breathe Tour”. Again featuring Audio Adrenaline as they complete their final tour dates as a band, the spring leg also features worship leader and songwriter Aaron Shust, whose hit song “My Savior, My God,” has made him what many are calling an “overnight sensation.” The tour will hit approximately 40 cities, of which are listed below.
MercyMe is also consistently garnering success at radio with “Hold Fast” bulleted in the Top 5 at R&R/Christian and CRW AC and "No More, No Less" hitting the Top 20 on Christian CHR as the general market Mediabase Christmas Chart has "Christmastime Is Here" at #16 this week.
