The sound of melodies will be heard in some of the hardest places on earth thanks to a partnership announced this week between the band Leeland and Food for the Hungry, an international relief and development organization.

The long-term agreement will allow the band to expand its ministry into some of the world?s most impoverished and AIDS-stricken countries in the world, working with Food for the Hungry to see lasting transformation in hard-hit communities. This will be done through sustainable solutions to physical poverty and the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Since catapulting into the music scene last year with Grammy nominations and Dove Awards, Leeland has proven to be much more than just another band. These young men have been injected with an untamable passion for ministry by their Lord, and it shines through their work.
