Earlier this month, critically acclaimed rock band Kutless began work on their newest project, the band?fs first worship album, expected to be out the first week of March. Recording at The Compound in Seattle, the group is teaming up with artist and producer Aaron Sprinkle for the third time.
For the album's content, the group is planning on dividing the track listing into two halves, with half of the songs being well-known worship tunes and the other half being originals that the group plays at their home church. The band writes that they hope the record, "will contain our usual edgy Kutless sound while maintaining a heart and attitude that allows the music to still be worshipful."
The group will be touring throughout December and into January when they will begin working on their fourth studio record, tentatively set for release Christmas 2005.
